[TechAssist] Pioneer SD-P4565 big screen intermitt video, no sound


hello all,

I have a Pioneer SD-P4565 big screen that came in dead, found some bad 
solder joints on the power supply board and bad electrolytic on +9V line, 
now the set powers up, i have on screen display, but no sound and the 
picture looks as though it is intermittantly trying to show, but you can 
never see a picture. i dont have a manual for this and new to fixing a 
problem like this on a big screen that bad soldering didnt fix. is there a 
common problem associated with these symptoms, and if not, where whould be a 
good place to start?
