Yes, you are right.  I am looking at a set I have here, a symphonic 
SC3819 which is the same as the Maggie, and it does have D591, C582 
(10uf-160v) to ground, R599 (jumper) then 2 more jumpers to pin 5 of the 
fly.  Seems like a strange circuit but....  I will look at service 
manuals I have at home this weekend and see if I have one like that.  John.
