Philips Consumer Electronics will close all Factory Service Center
operations effective April 30, 2004. This closing is consistent with the
recently announced Business Renewal Program of Philips Consumer
Electronics, which aims to simplify the organization and streamline
processes to dramatically reduce the cost of organization.
The work that is currently being done by the Philips Factory Service
branches will be reallocated to the Philips Authorized Servicer network.
