[TechAssist] Re: Philips HOT BU2508DF Mis-labeled

Jerry and Doug,

As an authorized service center I get training and all the access I want. In
fact, I can get special help at times with non available items and/or
exchanges for my customers.
Better yet, all this and the manufacturer PAYS US. You might argue that the
subscription fees and low rates are a problem...and your right...but after
it's all said and done, i'm making profit over and above. That's the bottom
line.

Also, everything is subject to negotiation. Don't just settle. I negotiate
rates and parts pricing to get the best possible deals on the whole picture.
Nobody is going to look out for my best interests better than I can.

Warranty work is like Lay's potato chips. "You can't have just one"
Bet they didn't tell you THAT at NESDA.

I enjoy a for the most part, a symbiotic relationship with my manufacturers
and TPA's.

Techassist is a better deal for tips BY FAR.
Unless something has changed, it's also alot more active and helpful than
nesdanet. Maybe that's just personal preference...I dunno...

I never found anything at NESDA that I couldn't do for myself just as well
(if not better). I also felt it to be a bit "paternalistic" and dogmatic. I
don't think they have their finger on the life pulse of the industry,
otherwise they would act with more urgency-'cause the patient is DYING!
