Symptom: Dead set. Open AC line fuse, 1500. Replacement may blow again. CLUE: If degaussing coil is unplugged fuse blows will stop. Cause: Current parameters of degauss resistor and degauss coil Resolution: Remove degauss resistor 3523 (white rectangle) and replace using location 3507 with service code 2122 663 00019, a 3 ohm PTC resistor. Give close attention to the marking on the CBA for 3507. Applies To: 26PW6341/37, 27MS6341/37, 27PT5441/37, 27PT6441/37, 27PT6442/37, 30PW6341/37, 32MS6341/37, 32PT5441/37, 32PT6441/37, 32PT6442/37, L04.1U AA Symptom: After replacing Degauss Thermistor (PTC) 3523 with 3507 as 212266300019 or 212066100025, the fuse 1500 continues to open. Cause: The wrong fuse is being used. Resolution: Use only fuse part number 242208610914. This is a special time lag fuse and is a safety part.
