[TechAssist] Re: Panasonic TH-42PHD5 plasma, comes on for 5 seconds, turns off, UPDATE.

I tried swapping fans with no difference.  The 4 fans must be connected
in parallel.  Disconnecting the bad fan made no difference as the set
most likely thought the missing fan was now open.  There are 3 wires
going to each fan:  12 volts, ground and an "SOS" line going to the CPU.

also,did the bad fan's voltage come back up when you disconnected it ???
