I agree with you they are digital transistor but what about the last 3 letter 
TSTand EST do you know what those meant. I ask you becouse if you found a 
transistor with the same number like DTC143 TST and found another with the same 
number but the last 3 letter are diferent and you measure both you will find 
out the resistence are not the same.

  Those are logic transistors, generic DTC143 and DTC124. They have a resistor
  in series with the base and one from base to emitter. If the collector is
  shorted to the emitter, they are bad. They dont check like transistors from
  the base. A lot of them are replaced because people think that they are
  ordinary transistors.
