Hi Bill I tried no change.
But if I touch with tester lead to the collector of Q1001 leds lights up and
set works. But if I unplug it and plug back in no power up. I think the
Q1001 needs to be replaced again. Or there is something else going on but I
have no idea.
Well I will try to replace the Q1001 and see what happens

Ken try replacing the 2 330mfd caps c1016,c1017 changed them because
they tie into that 5volt B+ line......................
