You don't need a schematic. Yank the module. There are two headers on the
main pcb. The header you will be working on is the smaller one, pins 1-11
usually labeled VP
You need (2) 22uf/50v bi-polar caps
From the print side of the chassis, jumper pin 5 to 11, jumper pin 7 to 9
with the caps. Chroma and Y are now looped. Do not reinstall the module
PIP no longer works. If your customer wants the PIP function, then you must
purchase a new module or a rebuilt if available.
You can repair yourself. Remove all leaky surface mount caps from that
module, clean off the electrolyte, and install new caps
A bad module will give you symptoms such as no chroma, overload (AGC,) vert.
bounce, no vert. sync, dead, etc.
