You shouldn't need a schematic to repair. The power supply
should be in a shielded case, and if the primary input fuse
is blown, your problem is on the primary side of the SMPS
(switch mode power supply). You have a shorted Switching
transistor, and check your main filter cap. Also check
for leaky capacitors on the secondary of the SMPS, common
problem. Another common problem is no regulation, check the
transistor next to the opto coupler on the Primary side.
It's always best to work on these PS's with a variac so as
not to blow out the new parts you replace. Monitor your 5
volt line on the secondary side, while you bring up the
input voltage with the vaiac.

Subject: [TA-A] Pan AG-1960 Power Supply
Date: Tue, 5 Feb 2008 18:47:18 -0800 (PST)
Dear Forum members,
Does anyone have a schematic for the AG-1960 power supply? We are trying to
repair one for a customer, and the Pan people can not supply the service manual
for at least 4 weeks from the time of order, ugh.
The power supply part number is VEP01375G, but it is no longer available from
Pan.
Thanks,
Mark
