[TechAssist] PDF document...schematics

Making a PDF document with text and schematic information the program
doubles the size of the document instead of compressing it.
The program used to work fine but now makes the document larger and
difficult to send over the net..
The is Adobe Acrobat 5.
Can some one shed some light on this problem... email private would be O.K
not to fill the list with a slightly off topic discussion..
