[TechAssist] Opinion on Hitachi Website ?

Jerry, 
I have been doing extensive research in TV brand quality and
servicablity.
Do you find the Hitachi Web site a great asset ?
From what I'm seeing Hitachi is good stuff.
But, for some reason Consumer Reports does not even have Hitachi in 
there "Repair History" list.  Has Hitachi quit making Direct View Tube
Type TV's ?????

Bye the way, their ratings indicate that  Sanyo, Toshiba, Sharp, JVC,
and Sony have the best
repair history. Do you concur ?  And of these brands, what is the most
service friendly ?

Input from others would be welcomed.

     Brock I just checked Hitachis web it's up and running. If you
have not been on the site for a long time. You may have register again.
I had to last week. I did download that manual I can try to send you an
attachment but it's a large file.
