[TechAssist] Re: Old 36 year old Model (male).

John,

Those parts are NLA and probably have been for some time now.
U.S. law requires they be kept around for seven years, however, I have heard
of a rejuvenation process which might be of some help.
It takes a couple of weeks, costs a few thousand bucks and the necessary
equipment is located in only three places around the world; Vegas,Brazil and
Thailand, although I have heard of them being available in other places.....
Having a similar unit here that only just turned forty a few days ago I was
going to try out this process on that unit and see how well it worked so I
could report it back to the rest of the forum members for evaluation.
However, my wife kindly pointed out that our business budget had already
been allocated for the year and could not stretch to accomodate a repair on
a unit of such questionable condition and age.
She suggested I try again in a few years.
I have to go now and make a few phone calls.
None of my credit cards seem to work anymore..

Looking for a mind for this unit. I seem to have misplaced the one that went
with this unit and I would like a good replacement. Also, I am in need of a
back for this unit, as the old one is broken almost beyond repair. One of
the legs on this unit is also worn out, and one of the arms is getting weak.
Please contact me if anyone out there has these items. Thank you, sincerely,
John.
