That FCC #, AJX, is toshibas number.  It is the same mechanism as RCA 
VR528-532-538-542-550-618HF-657HF-658HF-673HF to name just a few.  Yes, 
they are a dog of a mechanism (my appologies to dogs) but you must admit 
they are reliable when they are working.
The last UL# cross I have I downloaded from winStips 1-27-2000.  Ul#s 
are good for combi's since they do not have FCC's. It is 4 pages and 
pretty complete.  For FCC #'s I use the list from Electronic Servicing & 
Tech. Jan 20001 issue.  You can also go to www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid/.  I 
think I sent you a list of RCA/GE models that lists manufacturer and 
mechanism.  The mechanism you have is refered to as "G95" (the FCC # it 
would have on a vcr) and mechanism "A".  ("A" not refering to quality)
