Checking junkers will not really matter, Tosh micros will all come from the
same family of cpu's for a particular chassis line i.e. TMP47C634N----- the
numbers after the "N" are the program designators. All cpu's from that
family line will carry some functionality in any set from that chassis group
but if one desires that all functions in that particular model work they
must install the correct ic.  ( Oh the vagaries of high tech)  HTH ps I'll
