Question- Do you have sound? Can you get sound and picture thru the a/v jacks in back(use vcr output) to test. I carefully resoldered all the overfluxed connections inside the tuner (intermittent static noise and lines) and now there is only a blank screen with retrace lines (normal brightness). No display when using any controls. Can't find any service switches All connectors are tight, fuses o.k. Micro does have 5V.
