Is the unit shutting down or does the screen go dark and HV still present. I
find that most probs with this set are bad vert out IC , Bad connections on
the pc board on the yokes at the tube or fluid leaks on the PCBs. hope this
helps.

Hello Techs, I have a Mits VS4553 that goes immediately in shutdown when
power button is pressed. You hear the HV come up then unit shutsdown. I'm
not familar with this chassis and dont have a service manual. Any help
would be appreciated.
