Also well known to be the only part that fails if storm related.....(and
the
fuse) on Hitachi's. Had 3 units last year, all had a bad  STRM6811.

 (STRM...storm...some things just stick in your mind....like rimmel limp
moo
8 gezz, part # for old lamp in panasonic industrial vcrs)
