I just did one from an older Mitsubishi......had to remove the yoke & carefully cut open the plastic housing with a soldering tip ( Don't go to deep! Just enough to melt the plastic) on the inside of the yoke to expose rattling metal shims inside. Pumped it full of hot glue! Using a Sencore generator we were able to run the vertical winding on the bench to help us verify the area that was rattling. ========================== Jeff Stielau Shoreline Electronics Repair 344 East Main Street Clinton,CT 06413 860-399-1861 860-664-3535 (fax) jstielau@xxxxxxxx ======================== ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jeff Farnsworth" <jlfonz@xxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, March 30, 2005 6:55 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Mitsubishi CS-35303 > Varnish the yoke---same as magnavox's.
