[TechAssist] Re: Mitsubishi CS3520R Vertical problems need schematic.

Check or replace c928 1000uf@50v, 30v source pin 1 on PC conn, is voltage
source for Vert. ic4e1 (la7838) pin 8 27v., pin 13 26.4v. pin 1 9.4v
 ESR or replace c4e2 47u@25v, c4e4 100u@35v, c4e5 100u@xxxxx c4e6 2200u@25v,,
all lytics. use 105deg.
  D4e1 zener is either RD10EB1 (10v.) or EQAO2-11D (11v) hth..

Ken thanks for the tips. But we looked again still no D909 and

R917 also there is no L511 on this chassis. There is nothing on

this board diodes, resistors or anything starting with a 9. I

did find a coil L5E1 and it is no were near vertical IC also

vertical IC number is IC4E1 not IC401. I don?t know what to

tell you, it is model CS3520R not CS35203 as in WinSTIP. If

don?t get an answer by tomorrow afternoon on the free schematic

I will go ahead and download it from servicemanuals.net.

By the way how are you feeling? When I meet you in Ohio

you were not feeling too good. You can email me back privately

if you care to answer.

Try this tip:
---------------------------------------------------------------
Text pasted from WinSTIPS 2.0
http://www.ServiceSoftware.com
---------------------------------------------------------------

MITSUBISHI CS35203

Vertical No Vert Deflection

From Mitsubishi

Check 12v Supply At Vertical Ic401 Pin 1. If Missing, Suspect Open Coil
L511 (1000 Uh). Located On Pcb-Main At Ic401 Pin 1. Pt# 325c108070

---------------------------------------------------------------

Also, follow your +26v back to the flyback. Could be D909 is the
rectifier and R917 is the low-ohm resistor between the diode and the
vertical IC. Also, should find a 35-50 volt cap on the line. Can use an
NTE552 for D909. A good guess at R917 would be 1.2 ohm, 1 watt.
