[TechAssist] Re: Mitsubishi CK35402C

First the 3 controls on the transformer. One is Screen/brightness control
and the other 2 are for master focus and edge focus. Your fuzzy/white edges
are a result of the focus adjustments you presently have. Set your Screen
control first for a normal brightness, then adjust your focus.

Second, those lines are generally caused by bad caps on the 28 volt supply
to your vertical output. Replace them.

board and now the vertical is fine and the picture is good except for
vertical retrace lines are seen. I have adjusted the screen controls on the
flyback (there are three controls) as the customer had adjusted them to try
to fix the vertical rolling problem.

on dark pictures or when brightness is turned down, the lines are very
prominent.

whiter than the rest of the picture. This "frame" has no distinct edges but
is about 2 inches in width surrounding the entire screen.
