Ken;
    Why don't we just call it a Vertical problem, or a horizontal problem,
without describing what the line is showing on the screen.  Technicians will
know the difference. We will leave the description of the orientation of the
line to our customers. I have to explain this to my customers too often,
over the phone. So on a forum such as this, it will certainly weed out the
professionals from the novice.
