Bill,

I mean no offense, but please clarify.  You said " When we increase one
of the screens, a vertical line will come up."  Don't you mean a
horizontal line?  We have been through the vertical/horizontal discussion
before.  I had a tech working for me for years that would call the
resultant from vertical collapse "A vertical line."  Drove me crazy!

Check the B+ to the output chip.  See if it drops off.  Also, change the
diode next to the chip.   An NTE125 will work fine there.

One other thought.  Try some cold spray on the jungle IC.  You may be
losing drive to the output.
