Jose,

In my opinion, the major difference is cost.  Most cavity paint is epoxy,
which is very durable and dries hard.

Except for commercial units, I use cheap enamel--many fine coats to
repair small areas.  Dries quickly and protects the metal.  That's the
main purpose anyway.
