You know that Code Red has muted to three kinds now??? They do not know for 
sure what
the other two will do as yet..and it is to hit again this evening....

Nope, the list is safe now (keeping my fingers crossed) from
viruses and worms in the form of attachments AND HTML email
versions.  Now those of you with NT or win2K operating
systems may be having some problems due to the "Code Red"
worm, AND, servers, websites, corporation networks/LAN's,
etc, will probably have problems too if they run NT or Win2K.
That worm only affects NT and win2k servers and many
websites, lists, etc, run those OS's, so they will probably
have problems.  I have experienced no problems with this
list, and have not been alerted to any that any members were
having.  You might be having and ISP "hiccup", or your ISP
could be affected by "Code Red".

From our members "welcome" email and FAQ's section:

Members, in our continuing efforts to make this list even
better and safer, I am happy to say, (and all of you will be
happy to know), after some tweaking to our server settings,
these tests below seemed to have been successful.  In the
tests, no attachments were posted even though I sent them,
and in the HTML test, it WAS converted to plain text even
though I posted in HTML format.

I have configured our list server to strip all attachments,
as well as convert HTML/rich text formatted emails to plain
text.  So, this is great news for YOU, our members.

        Was there a virus from one of the TEC's yesterday on
the list??? I was hit
with over 1500 of same emails...every time I deleted it came
right back...was not
till I made a : Mail Rule" to delete all email at server did
it stop.... ???? Anyone
else say anything??
There was one TEC never seen his name before that posted
..and it was not there in
late AM ..but after I seen his and it was double ..it
started...
