I've got a puzzle with this one. It came in with sound no picture. If you turned the screen up you could get a picture just before the overdrive lines come on. After chasing video all around the place and finding that waveforms were about 1/4 what they should be coming out of the I/C that feeds the pic.socket, I started to check the ABL cct. I found that it was 1.5 volt low. Went to F/B found voltage low there also. My tech was checking in that area and accidentally shorted pin 2 (ABL and Heater) to pin 3 (210 volts to pic socket). the picture came back and after 2 hours running is still good. I am wondering if anyone has had problems in this area before. I don't like to give the TV back and have it fail again for same problem. I will run it for a day or two and if OK and I don't get any replies I will give it back.
