Just a side note they will also replace the LA7831 even though the chip
looks completly diffrent, the active pins in the center are the same and the
pin spacing is the same, had a magnovox a year ago that was a giveme hotel
special, mounting clip held it and a 7832 worked just fine in place of the
7831. (was out of LA7831 and sanyo semiconductor listed it as discountinued
which ment that finding an authentic part was decresing in probabbility)

I agree...But I had 2 bad ones in my batch, so it threw me for a loop.
I re-ordered 5 from Global..(LA7833) to take the place of LA7830/32/33.
