[TechAssist] Re: Is WinStips worth the price?

that's not true.....I've had many tips that have been 'rejected' as 
duplicates.....even if
they have:
....... more parts replaced the the original tip
......... been entered under a different chassis or model number

The new Tips have to be 'original'.... which from what I've learned, means 
they can be nothing
like another tip.
For example,yesterday I repaired a 36" RCA model F36688 chassis 
CTC197CN1,bad C14601 2200Uf/25v cap on the 16v Stand-by Voltage.

When I enter this tip under this MODEL and this FULL Chassis Number,BOTH 
will be rejected because there is a tip(2 actually) under CTC197,for C14601.
The reason I know there are 2 tips is because after the fix,I searched 
Winstips 'chassis CTC197' and 'fix c14601' and found the 2 tips.

I know duplicates need to be at a minimum,but I DO believe ALL tips should 
be under model AND chassis number....that's how my winstips program 
is....even IF my tips are rejected
by the Powers-that-be at WinStips.
