Ok here's the story a 1Meg on the green and red and a 18K on the blue 
brought up a very good picture. Has anyone tried VR's in series with fixed 
resistors on here? Jim Mcvey had used them on the  emitter buffer but I 
don't have any 2K VR's to try. Will try when I get the parts Jim.
