Barry,
The only way they would work in the US, is if they are multi-format..
If so, there should be a switch on the back to select format.
What do you see if you select channel 3?
I think you will still get sound.

Subject: [TechAssist] Hong Kong Cable standards

Hello Techs,
I have taken in three sets from a customer who brought them from Hong Kong.
The sellers in Hong Kong
said they would work in the US. The power seems OK but I cannot program them to
our NTSC cable. It seems
to be unable to lock AFT. The sets are:
Sony KV-FMN31
Sharp 21BN4
Mitsubishi CT29C1
I have faxed Mitsubishi a week ago but have gotten no reply. Has anyone a
email contact for these
manufacturers?
Thanks,

Barry MacInnes
