If you use a Crosshatch pattern in the Video one mode are the sides, top and
bottom rouind or are they Ok?

Have Hitachi HDTV 43FDX01B, came in with bad convergence-replaced both
conv. chips (STK392-110 put in Hitachi chips)
2.2 ohm resistor open on one return line in conv. yoke circuit.
Convergence now looks ok, but now have three seperate red, blue, and green
curved lines over the pix at the top of raster. Problem shows up in aux.
video input also. Put in new digital convergence module--still same
problem. Nothing found on Hitachi service web site. Set made in 2000.
Nothing on Winstips. Theses 3 colored curved lines are about 8-10 in.
across.
Has anyone seen this problem in Hitachi? Cutomer wants TV back for
Christmas.
