You did not say the model, so I am not sure this model applies: My
HItachi model 50UX15K had very weak color in main picture, PIP and OSD
good color.
Replaced IC0006 (#2008721,M62358P) located under a square 6x6 inch
shield cover.
Same issue and fix with model 46EX3B.
Note, on another common issue with smeared video, Remove the can "M301",
open it. It has a deley line, and electrolytics (smd) inside.The caps
leak.Replace bad caps.
