About all I can say is : Check the power supply I think I've seen one dead PTV775 in 3-5 years. Actually, I think the B+ diode opens on some of these units, and another diode tucked in "real close" to the IHVT has been known to short. I wish I could give you location numbers, but this is a "mind e-mail file" with a visual attachment. Good luck and let us know what you find. ----- Original Message ----- From: "bob" <bob_whigt@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, September 21, 2001 5:11 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Help-mag.PTV775-Ah01 low b+ > > Hey guys > Customer said it pop, when the set went off, undo h.v. block no highvolt, when > press power led is dim only for a sec. then goes off .Collecter hot volts is > only 15v.Pulled hot it is ok.checked around chopper with no luck.Any help > data would be appreciated.
