[TechAssist] Re: Health Insurance Advice

Surgeon wanted $2400 for double hernia. Medicare gave him $450. his partner
worked on the other side at the same time. Medicare only gave him $60. I
would have walked off on the job if it had been me and they told me that I
would only get $60 for the surgery ( Will have to make it up on someone
else). Lab and supplies and anesthesia - about $1000. Hospital - $4000. Good
thing I was an outpatient - in at 8, out at 12. What Medicare didnt pay for,
the BC/BS supplement did.
