Customer brought GE combo Md. 19TVR01 in with relay clicking when
power button
was pushed.Could not get clicking to stop by pushing power button.Had to
unplug .
.Customer said something had burned.I found R-418 burned. It measures
right at 900 ohms.I would like to know if thats the correct value.Upon
further checking I found that
after pluging set back up R-418 was burning hot.I measured 52vB+ on the
FBT side of
it. I pulled R-418 out of set and measured 125v B+, the same as what I
got at C of
H.O.T.. I checked all voltages that were indicated on the PS/Deflection
board and they
were right on.I suspect that the FBT is bad.Measuring resistance from B+
pin EY47 on
fly to ABL pin EY46 at 1.2k ohm.I dont have schematic so I would like to
know if
anyone would agree with me on that. Any help would be appreciated.
