You don't give us much to go on. Do you have a service manual? This is one power supply I would not want to work on without a schematic. The first power supply puts out +118 on DP20 catode and the second PS puts out +9v on DP44 catode, also +6.2,+9,+33,+17,-5. You can unplug BP05/BL06 to isolate the power supply from the rest of the set. The turn on from the micro comes on connector BV81 pin 6 thru several transistors and finally provides +9v to IV01 pin 22 on the deflection board. I have seen problems in that line. Also check bad connections, esp. on the defl. bd. A shorted vertical output is common and causes immediate shut down.
