[TechAssist] Fwd: Re: Zenith Projo Model Z56Z83R8

Mando; have you tried removing the input to the
splitter(like we do on the rca sets)??
I've had one that was bad.
The main reason I bring this up, however, is
because I thought I had the second set with a bad
splitter, and ordered one.
Turned out to be a bad CRT causing the same symptom
of sound but no hv.
If the set has hv with the splitter
disconnected(and isolated) then reconnect it, and
remove the outputs to the crt's one by one 'till
you find the defective one.
Worth a try.
