Al, saying you don't want DVD but want to record data on large disks, is
like saying you don't want pizza but you do want a big circular thing
with sauce, cheese, and peperoni.

You can't burn the 4.7 gig DVD disks in a CD-only burner, you need to
get a DVD burner, which will burn CD's and DVD's. All of the new DVD
burners burn both DVD-R and DVD+R discs, and many of them can burn dual
layer discs giving you 8.4 gigs of data, but I have found the dual layer
discs to be expensive and normally not worth the money.
