[TechAssist] Frustrated Tech --- Philips Magnavox TV/VCR Combo

Well..Were should I start....

I still haven't found out a model # for the TV/VCR combo unit.... I've just
about called every person on earth and one knows anything
Tried to use Philips's 900 (900-896-8324) number but didn't get anything...
I guess that number is not in service.?.?.? Go figure..!
So I gambled and replaced both IR LED's and the center LED. Also I cleaned
the mode switch.

Result = Same problem as before

Symtoms = Attempts to eject tape automatically then 10 seconds later....
Good bye..

TV screen message = Stop then C or T Eject

The only way I can prevent it from shutting off is by shining a light into
the start sensor(At least I think its start sensor)

I have voltage readings at both sensors (Above 4.6 v)

I've just about had it with this unit....!

**Here's some internal numbers**

Monitor Make=FUNAI
Model # A48KRD89X
Serial # 803241687

Circuit Board # BB5900F01012 (Part #...?)

VCR Chassis # MK7-F1(Part #...?)

Please help...Any suggestion would be helpful.

Steven
