The solution was Philips Kit # 483531057673 It contains: 7404 93405413215 SMD FET for horz drive 3239 483511057126 1200 Ω 1/6 watt 3414 319801224780 4.7 Ω 2W 5402 242253102617 Horz drive transformer It also has 2 other variants for 3414 for various models 8.2 Ω and 12 Ω with a note Peter Oliver Tucson Radio TV From: peggs <peggs@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Reply-To: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To: techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx, techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Philips 27PT6441/37 L04.1U AA Dead-smoked Date: Sun, 26 Jun 2005 19:19:41 -0700 from WinStips 1. Losing Horizontal Drive at the H. Drive Transistor. This unit has a Surface Mount FET it uses as the H. Drive Transistor. Change 7404 part# 9340 547 13215. Also 2 resistors need to be changed for reliability of the New FET. 3239 change from 2.7K to a 1.2K 3414 change from 1ohm to 4.7ohm 2 Watt. 3414 is changed to a different Value in other Screen sizes. 2. Seems That The De-Gaussing Circuit Is Drawing More Than The Circuit Was Designed To Do. Main 4 Amp Fuse Blows At Turn On, Disconnecting The De Gaussing Coil Eliminates The Fuse From Blowing And The Set Will Operate Normally. Part 3523 Which Is A Dual Thermister Assbly Is Bad, Part # 2322-662-96753. Part Is Already Not Available. Philips Fix Is To Remove 3523 And Install Thermister Part # 2122-663-00019 In Empty Location 3507. At This Time That Part Out Of Stock. The L01 Chassis Uses 3. Clue If Degaussing Coil Is Unplugged Fuse Blows Will Stop. Cause Current Parameters Of Degauss Resistor And Degauss Coil. Cure Remove Degauss Resistor 3523 (White Rectangle) And Replace Using Location 3507 With Service Code 2122 663 00019, A 3 Ohm Ptc Resistor.
