[TechAssist] [ FIXED ] Sony KV36XBR400 Dead set ( 220 volts was applied )

This WAS a straight forward repair.
I pulled the "A" board to the shop, and replaced a blown MOV, and the A/C
fuse.
I could see no further damage, so I took the board back, re-installed
it,.....and everything was back to normal. I must say that it was much
easier then I had thought it would be. (Just a little sweat, and cuss words
were needed). I don't know the part number of the MOV, cause I just took one
from a junked Sony chassis. I think the one that Radio Shack sales would
have even been good enough for a reliable repair.

Thanks for your advice,
LLW
