Did a lot of uwave work in the past.The feed cover is indeed transparent to the 
signal,but if you DO paint it,you need non-reactive paint.[metals

No, I don't need one. I'm just trying to educate myself, once and for all,
because I expect to see this problem again in the near future. Why pay out
$90 for a new feed, "IF" the plastic is all of the problem ?
