Would that be a microprocessor, or a microcontroller? Microcontrollers
have built in ROM memory so in other words, if the part in question has
been preprogrammed, you would have to purchase it from a Dick Smith
dealer because an off the shelf microcontroller would not be programmed
for any specific circuit, thus brain dead.
