[TechAssist] Dead CtC197

Can someone send me some of the common repairs to a Ctc 197 chassis.
The set Tries to start and makes a strange sound but does not come up. 
and  no sound.
Picking up the set tomorrow  for repair.
THe set I believe is a 36" RCA CTC 197
MOdel # at this time is ?.
