[TechAssist] Curtis mathes TV/VCR Can't get into parental lock

This set the customer said sometimes blocks out some channels. I tried to get 
into the parental lock menu but it won't take a password from me and the 
customer says he didn't put one in. Is there a way to bypass the pass word or 
retrieve it to get in to menu? I have read the owners manual.
