This one is blowing horizontal outputs (2SD1427) after running a couple of hours or days. Output timing is good, waveform stable, does not get hot, caps test ok, B+ is 130V and stable. Any history on this oldie...customer wants it fixed for sentimental reasons and likes the cabinet. I found nothing in the archives or tips pages. This was one of the NEC chassis from 1986 with the socketed chips. I have seen lots of these with bad connections at the sockets causing other problems. Anyone ever have it cause output failures? I cleaned them and monitored the output and never saw it change until it quit. No problems with pix or sound when it is running, other than the CRT is aged. Current draw was well under 1 amp.
