[TechAssist] Re: Ct-36G23W large bow on each side

Hello Everyone
Thought I would give you an updated fix on this dog.
After replacing the H.O.Transistor and regulator with original, I decided to
look closer at the stand-up board for pincushion, and I discovered
C757=220uF 35 volt and C756uF 16 volt capacitors were almost completely
open, replaced them and bow in picture disappeared but I could not get the
width to fill the entire picture as this is adjusted from R760 a 5k pot
which I had to turn all the way in one direction to almost get the picture
at full width, I went over that board many many times until I finally found
that the width control R760 which should read 5k was reading about 2k,
replaced pot and now picture fills the screen.

HOT =2sd2539, replaced it with a 2sd1881 from Tritronics (I know I should
use the OEM) but not in stock, and I am trying to verify if the set has any
other problems.
> My question is are there any other common problems with this chassis
(AEDP313) concerning pincushion, that could be causing my problem, or do I
have the bowing on each side because I am not using the original HOT. B+ is
running at 130 volts, I replaced C820 and resoldered all bad joints. I do
not have schematic. If anyone has this schematic and could upload it, that
would help to check other voltages. This chassis has a stand-up board for
pincushion and everything seems ok on that board too. I did not replace the
regulator (IC803=STR58041) as it seems to be working. Any suggestions?
