Damon;
I'm not Jim, but when you install XP, it will do a search on the programs
you are using, before install, called a compatibility test, and will give
you a list of Non-compatible programs. Then check the net for XP Updates,
and decide if you really need those programs in the first place.
    Most legitimate programs will have XP updates.
And of course always wise to do a backup of your Datafiles, and Databases.
