This is a longshot but does anyone know who makes Compaq's power supplies or
if any documentation is available? Their P1 and P2 connectors make it
impossible to use just any old supply that might fit. This is an oldie:
Prolinea 590 power suplly part no. is 172742-001 (replaced, it says, by
172765-001 but another (probably mfr's part no.) appears: PS-5151-3 and
series PS 2020
I've got completely burned out resistors next to main transistor R24, R25,
R71 and a really zapped roach.
thanks, Craig. P.S. I've been to Compaq site (no help) and Ebay.
