My advice: get XP Pro. I don't know if giving this advice is conflict of
interest for me, but in my personal experience between the two I found
XP Pro far superior in stability and security. Doesn't make a lot of
sense since they're from the same code base but that is just the story
so far. I had a lot of crashes with XP Home Edition on my personal
'puter back at home because of all sorts of add on hardware I have that
the drivers were just too funky for Home Edition, while XP Pro just
chugs along without any problems at all... even with a bad stick of 256M
RAM it just managed to work with little data loss at all. Just make sure
that you have at least 128Meg RAM for any XP version you have.

The Toshiba laptop shuts down just as the ATC311
chassis goes into the service mode.
(hold CH up and vol up 10 seconds)
The tv won't enter the service mode at all hooked
up to the desk top.
The computer indicates that it is in communication
with the tv.
" A lan cable is connected 10mps"
But they both just sit there.
